Splitting Unequally by shares or % on Android app
I would like to see this feature on the Android app too :) I love that it's been implemented on the web version.

Add more icons like for drink, vegetables. entertainment

Put the scroll bar on friend list on left side
With the change in UI you have done, when I click on Show all friends even with the settled amount, the list is big and I can't even see all of my friends, will suggest to put a scroll bar to see all the friends if I opt to see all friends (including settled one) as well.

Show group balance summary on group page
I use Splitwise with a rather large group of people and we rarely settle up completely. We just take turns in who is going to pay to make sure no one owes too much or is owed too much.
To do so, the group page is key. Opening it used to give, in a simple glance, a way to see every individual balance for all group members. It was easy to know who would have to pay the next rounds!

Save $ value, bill name, etc. when adding more people to the bill
Currently, the "Divide a bill" window is laid out with the amount and name of the bill at the top. One fills them in, then gets to the part where you can add people to the bill. If you do so, the amount and name are lost. Obviously, it should save those.

Ability to add what a group owes to a person
So, some of your friends are just way too lazy to add their bills online. It would be nice if I had the ability to add a bill on behalf of another person

the layout is very good now.. PLZ DO NOT CHANGE NOW!! also the old problem of 1 person owing diff amounts in one-to-one and in grp has been merged to one single amount... goodd!!!

Consolidate one-on-one debts with group debts
My friend owed me some money from our apartment group, as well as some "one-on-one" debt that came over from a BillMonk import. He paid me back for both at once. After entering the payment, it said that he still owed me 148.09 in the group, and I owed him 148.09 in one-on-one debt. I had to add two extra payments of 148.09 to zero it out. This seems like it could be much more streamlined.
2 votesWe are planning to make this better in the next big update, but for the moment, if you go to your friend expense list of the website, you can click on the gear next to their name and consolidate debts from that menu until we get the better solution in place.

Include encoding for international characters

Simplified debts
Allow debt simplification to disconsolate debts . For example if X owes me 5 , Y owes me 25 and Z owes me 20 , an option to have X owe me 50 and rest settled up. Useful in inter apartment transactions where you know one person in an other group better and easy to do transaction with him.

Update the "Whats new" section for android app updates, this lets people know what has been updated
Recently I have been getting a lot of updates for the android app. While this is great, I do not know what has been updated, even if its a bugfix, a changelog can be put into the "whats new" section of the android app page showing users what has changed.

create an icon for gifts and an icon for laundry/dry cleaning (hanger)
We love your site/app and these icons would make it even better!

travel icon
The travel icon being a gas tank is a little confusing. I fly on a plane, yes they also take fuel but it would be nice to have a different travel category icon for expenses. I love your app and website. Starting to use this more and more.

Adding Pictures for "payments"
when we make a payment, it would great to add pictures. right now, for a payment, theres only the one your website has. I would like to add a picture of a bill, bank confirmation, etc. Please allow us to add pictures for payments as well.

Study bill monk's algo and implement a similar syste.
When a person adds a bill to a group with x number of people, the algo doesn't adjusts the amount those x individuals already owe the person. This is a bug. Ex- if I owe you $2 and you add a bill to a group that has only you and me as members for say $5. The algo shows that I now owe to only $2.5 rather than $4.5 I owe you in total.

New category: Cleaning
It's super common around these parts to hire a cleaning lady and split the bill evenly among the flatmates. A broom would be the perfect icon for that.
Also, it's common to hire a cleaning lady when you rent an apartment for a holiday and split among the travellers, so, double-win! :D

Catrgory for "Entertainment"
Can we get a category (and icon) for "Entertainment" expenses. Meaning like when my friends and I go out to the movies and one of us pays for the tickets. Or like this past weekend when we went out for Karaoke and one of us paid. Sucks to have to just use the "General" label.

Make groups and individual bills clear
On dashboard, showing as i shud get money from some X. when clicking on that person showing that "i need to pay him"... confusing
