You can now add friends via QR code!
You can find your QR code by tapping the Account tab on iOS, or by tapping the menu icon on Android.

Splitwise is by far the best app I have ever used to manage by expenses. It is easy to use and manage. Team Splitwise keep up the good work.

send emails when some puts a bill, payment etc
It would be very helpful if we can receive emails whenever some one shares a bill with us, or makes a payment.
Overall the site is very impressive and useful.

Actually, there is a user setting for that! Go to the drop-down menu in the top right of the screen, and click on “My Account.” On the right hand side, you can change your notification preferences so that you are emailed every time you are paid, added as a friend, an expense is created, etc.

Make it possible to view all outstanding debts/credits
At the moment, in a group I can only see who owes me and to whom I owe. As a group of students we use this app to administrate all our expenses and usually people who have a lot of outstanding debt are required to make the next payment. Unfortunately this is not possible with this ap because you cannot see who has the most debt of the total group, instead one can only see who has the most debt to himself only.

Thanks for the suggestion! Right now, if you’re settled up with someone and have had no activity with that person for more than 40 days, we hide them in your balance lists.
