Shopping list (checklist)
Hi guys!
We use Splitwise for traveling and household issues.
For our household group we miss a shopping list, where we can write down what we need to buy for our house. This way all members can enter to the list when they are out for shopping and buy the stuff needed.
This feature would incluse a checkbox that can be marked when the product is bought. At the time you mark the checkbox, an "Add new bill" screen could be shown to add the new bill.
We talked about it at home and we would find it very useful ;)
Thanks for your great job!
Cheers!
Thanks for the suggestion! We do think this is a useful thing for housemates, but we’re planning to keep working on just the splitting side of things for the foreseeable future. We would be open to working with existing shared list apps to work on something like this.

Here, I got a lot of useful information. Recently, I visited Kohl's retail store to purchase some requirements. After finishing my shopping at kohl's, I got a survey invitation code on the purchase receipt to participate in the kohls feedback survey at the official survey page https://www.kohlsfeedback.page/.

It would be great if a group could have a synced shopping list and when purchases on that list are made, the expenses are automatically added to the group's

I just thought that if u include a feature to have a checklist of things to be done/bought(eg., Grocery items) and have reminders enabled for those things, We do not need one more app to note things.

A basic shopping list that helps (evenly) split the shopping between all my roommates.

We're really happy to use Splitwise in our shared flat (of 7 people)!
Here's the idea... maybe silly: some time ago we discussed how it would be great to write down somewhere on Splitwise the everyday items missing or ending soon: toilet paper, spices, cleaning products; so that anybody could spontaneously check this so-called "whishlist" while grocery shopping.
Then the person would check the bought items and add the total price.
I also used Splitwise for my trips with my friends. And I think this would be a great help to prepare a good to-buy list for a camping/hiking journey for instance.
