Show only those friends on home page which either owe me money or to whom I owe money. Other friends can be hidden under 'old.......friends'
Currently, when I select All Balances.. in the drop down above my friends list you show friends with whom I've settled up balances too. You should only show those friends who either owe me money or to whom I owe money. Other friends can be hidden in that menu at bottom. Like that, the list will shrink and will probably show me in one view all friends with pending balances..

Thanks for the suggestion! Friends who you have been settled up with for more than 40 days should automatically get hidden as you describe.

In the 'friends' section there are three options in the menu - 'you owe', 'you are owed', and 'all balances' - and one can select only one of them.
I think people generally want to see what they owe and what are owed to them, and ignore the settled up balances.

In the friends tab, all the friends for whom the money is settled as well as to the friends whom I owe or them to me is present in the same screen. I feel if the amount is settled let them get removed but still stay in the contacts and only people with money owed or to be settled be present in the tab

Currently, if I owe a friend $0.00, it is displayed in the "You Owe" column --- implying that "I owe my friend $0.00". This makes me have a mild heart attack whenever I look at splitwise. I see all the orange and falsely think that I owe my friends lots of money -- when in reality we're settled up!
On that note, I think this problem only occurs when the friends are in groups, and we are not settled up within the groups. Friends with whome I am setteld up with in all groups don't show up on the dashboard at all.
((Yes, this is a minor cosmetic issue. Feel free to put it at the bottom of your backlog.))
