Put the frequently used currencies on top
Me and my boyfriend are both belgian (euro), i am living in the UK (gbp) and he is living in the us (usd). This means we use these three currencies very often. When I add something in splitwise, the default currency is euro, and i have to scroll down a lot before I find the gbp or dollar. Something similar for my boyfriend. It would be very convenient if these three currencies would be on top of the list instead of in the middle of the alphabetical list.

Why not make the last currency used as an option to select at the top of the list?

Hi, I have been using Splitwise for years now and I love it!
The mobile app is perfect, but the web app is still a bit annoying: every time I have to select a currency, it doesn't remember the last one I used in the same group (while the mobile app does).
Moreover, there's no way to search among currencies and I always have to scroll and manually search for it -

I would suggest making this explicit and letting the user mark multiple preferred currencies. Preferably with an option to reorder them. This would ensure that the currency always shows up at the same place in the list.

Hello, I would like to make a suggestion to add a feature for a list of preferred currencies instead of having only one default currency, or to have the last used currencies placed on top of the list. I live in a quite international context and have to regularly switch between currencies and it is not very convenient to look for it in the whole list everytime.

rather than searching through the list of currencies every time (especially since i can't search with my keyboard by typing), it'd be nice if previously used currencies in a group were at the top of the list.
use case: i'm in mexico with canadian friends. we're paying for everything in a combination of CAD, USD, and MXN. once i've added a split payment in MXN, i'd like to see "mxn" at the top of the list. (screenshot: https://cl.ly/1f17b56e42fc)

Could you please put the most recent currency on the top of the list? It's quite a pain since I use multiple currencies.

Yes please, it's quite annoying to scroll through the list on the web app. Alternatively you could move to an auto-complete drop down that lets me start to type the currency rather than scrolling through the entire list.

For balances with multiple currencies, when adding an expense in a non-default currency, it would be awesome if the other currencies that have been used in that balance were on top of the list (to avoid scrolling down the list).

I regularly use splitwise in three different currencies, and would really like to be able to save favorite currencies (just changing the default doesn't quite solve my problem) at the top of the currency dropdown, so I don't have to scroll to find them every time.
