Rename friends
I can't find a way to rename friends. Somehow a few got added under only their first initial during import from Billmonk. If there is a way, it should be made clearer!

We’ve added the ability to edit details of friends who have not yet logged in. Just visit the friendships settings page for the friend that you wish to edit, and you’ll be able to change their name or email address.
Note that once a user has logged in, only that person can change their name or email address.

How do I edit a fried email?? Friends settings button only gives me an option to cancel the action or to delete said friend...

It cannot be that this stayed so since August 2012. I have several first name only friends and I never know which one is which. Come on, really? I need to be able to rename a friend in a way I can remember which one it is. Not in some stupid way he chooses to create his account.

Yes thats true. Nicknames sometimes are ment as joke and irritate in frequent use. Therefoe it would be geat to have the opportunity to rename your friend just for your point of you, not its actual account.

Friends do use strange nicknames that I don't recognize easily. :(

Its still not implemented, right? All people do not properly add their names. Some write a different name, a nick or something else. Sometimes there is ambiguity between names. This creates a mess in list of friends. The user should be allowed to change so as to make it easier for him/her to browse the list.

It would really great if I could rename my friends, because now I tend to have some friends by the same first name only and I have to guess if they're the right ones when I add an expense.

Renaming a friend on splitwise is a basic feature. As Harshwardhan said, we shud expect the friends name to show up as we like.

I also think that the RENAME feature should be available on every client's side.
I expect to see my friends the way i want in my splitwise window.
