Allow an account to have multiple email addresses

Since people use multiple email addresses. It would be great to have the ability to merge all email addresses under a single account.

This way a person can "friend" someone based on whichever email address they know

    When a user added to a splitwise payment group and by mistake if the email is not existing in splitwise or wrongly spelled Sptliwise is creating a new account for this use. The user will never know about this payment request , there should be a use case to validate the email . I had a very bad time due to this bug.

    I have two Paypal accounts. One for NZD, and one for GBP. My email for my splitwise is also my NZD paypal account. I want the default paypal account on my Splitwise to be for my GBP Paypal account. Can you please make it possible to choose which Paypal email address is given to people?

    Would also be really good to have a "Bank Details" field where you can enter your bank account details for people to pay you via a deposit with ease.

    Many users have different email-ids for venmo and splitwise.
    So when I pay someone on splitwise via venmo, it goes to the wrong account.
    So maybe you could have venmo profiles for the users, so the payment gets directed to the correct account.

    I now see that there's an option to "merge accounts" with different email addresses, but was the feature to have multiple emails on one account ever added (so that when future invites to the second email address are received they automatically route to the primary account)?

    Unfortunately, Splitwise is kind of useless without this. My coworkers send me bills in my work email, my friends in my gmail, my college friends to my old college ID...
    As a result, I've missed payments, and this has caused some big headaches between friends. I might as well use an Excel spreadsheet to track money as at least that way, I'll have everything in one place and won't miss things.

    any updates on this? This really limits my usage of splitwise because of the pain of going between work/personal email addresses (and i have a couple of different personal email addresses)

    Lack of this feature is a biggest drawback of splitwise compared to billmonk. In a real world we all have private, school, company and facebook emails.

    I tried to use splitwise on our project and it was virtually impassible to decide which address to use :/
