to add a widget for the homescreen
it would be great to have a widget for the Android app with the following functionality:
- Display one Friend per line
- Display the Avatar, the name, the total owed amount or the amount the friend owes me
- Have a little icon to add a bill and to settle up
If you have any questions please feel free to contact me :)
An Android widget is a great idea :) We just started work on a pretty big Android update – for now, we’re mostly focused on improving the core app, but we’d love to include cool stuff like widgets in a future release.

It's convenient to have a quick glance at my home screen and know exactly how much debt I have to each person. Make this a thing, pretty please:) https://geometrydash2.com/

Being able to see how much debt I owe a person on my home screen is really handy. Please make this a thing :)

You want Splitwise to become a daily part of the users life? Create a widget that allows us to enter new bills quickly without opening the app. thank you!
Added value: more visibility of splitwise

Quick bill adding would be awesome!
This would make adding expenses even quicker and easier !

For quick bill adding. Just a short cut to the add bill button in the application will be enough.
basically add a shortcut to access the group faster. As the contacts in address book or the groups in WhatsApp
I am on Android by the way. Don't know if there's a quicker way of doing things on iOS.
The idea could be implemented simply by having a shortcut open the app and then the quick-add for the specified group, or by having an actual widget popup-window that diesplays the quick-add stuff.
Quick-Add is a wonderful feature. However, accessing it is not quick at all. An option to add a quick-add shortcut for a specific group to the homescreen would be superb!
Thank you so much for considering this feature! Indeed, an Android "Quick add expense" widget would be great. It's such a common use case too: You're leaving the grocery store and you want to quickly add it to your expenses, but there are 4-5 steps to do so using the app, whereas it could be done in 1 step with a widget. Thanks in advance!

Thank you for this wonderful app!
When you split expenses often, say several times daily, the only downside is that it is 'uncomfortable' to open the app every time you spend small amounts of money. Meanwhile, we therefore started to only use it for larger amounts (>5 EUR). (I know, people are so lazy!)
Solution: Widget with a 'calculator-keyboard' for simple and instant sum-entries and a 'split now' button.
(Concerned group and split settings for me almost never change, so this would make it a dream for me to use.)
Additionally: increased visibility for splitwise app.
