It would be really be a bonus to users to also be able to add expenses or split expenses with non existant user of app to keep personal records on track. For eg . X owes me 100 bucks but since he is not in splitwise i cannot maintain a record for same. But if i can get a option to add up such spend , i can keep track manually and once its paid up i will update in splitwise as paid. It will help provide me a clear view of what i owe or vice versa. Thanks in advance.

without calculatin peraonal daily expense this app is nver complete it's a waste

you guys are doing great work. I always keep a separate Application for my expense tracker.why dont you integrate this featues(my expense traker) in the application.

using splitwise, we can handle billing and splitting, etc. but I have to use different app for managing my expenses.
so it's good to have both in one app.

I would love to have a tab, or other app from you guy that is as quick and simple as splitwise for my personal accounting.

You achieved something really valuable for my and my friends: Shared bills simple and very trustworthy.

I´ve try many apps for budgeting, expenses and even simpler/dumber ones... but all feel like bloatware against your app.

Maybe like "you paid" and amount instead of you lent or your borrowed.

I made a group with just myself in it for personal expenses and it works great. The only draw back is that in the list view it says "no balance" instead of showing the amount. It would be great if it would show the amount.

In Current Version: This is very important feature to have. But now you can add another email/phone number of yours and split it equally.
But Splitwise should include this feature ASAP otherwise people might move to different app .

I want this feature where I should be able to view only those expenses of a group for which I have spent.

As Splitwise is already keeping track of my monthly expenses involving friends, I would love it if I get to add my personal expenses not involving anyone else. In this way I'll be able to track my total monthly expenses.

to keep an account of our personal expenses we need to use excel notepad etc instead of that you can have a tab where we can add personal expenses as fixed expenses like home loan, rent, car loan, investments etc

What if one can record all the transactions made personally or in share with others and gets accounting advice based on the kind, number of transactions.
How about an app can let know to its best, where and how the user is investing and what's best to him. Will be a little policy based when we read the transactions, but will be way ahead. A PA is what I am looking for.

I also support the addition of personal expenses, alongside shared expenses. I have tried the suggestion of creating a group of 1, but you cannot get a balance update as there is no money owing!! Your already settled up with yourself!! Please can you confirm the progress on the personal expenses option. It is absolutely essential for the completeness -and usefulness of this app. Thank you.

You can add a new functionality where I can add my individual expenses and bills so that at the end of the month I can know how much I spend in total. And a graph for expenses for last 6-12 months.

Since I live alone now, I would like to track how much my expenses are, and also keep all those invoices safe. For example, I went to the mall, and I have a long invoive now, which I throw away. Instead I would like to add it as my own expense in splitwise, and I would take that bill's picture too. I can even add notes. Splitwise can easily do this if you allow groups of size 1. And it can also keep my bills safe. (I hate to keep them in photos gallery). After this update, I would be able to punch-in all my expenses, not just shared ones, and that will help me manage expenses better.

can you develop something to show all the sum of expenses

Request you to add additional features to track our personal expenses. This will be really helpful for us to keep track of all our expenses.

I am in very much need for this :) ... Currently I manages my bills across Mint and Splitwise which is very time consuming at the moments.

It will be easier for people to track both their income and expenseb if they have the option to add it. Moreover, your app will become more usefull!!!
