Percent for each item in itemized bill.
I know this could increase the complexity of the UI, but for me unequally split each item of the itemized bill would be a great, great feature that i could use practically in each bill.

We’re not currently planning any significant changes to the itemized bill form, though I do see how this could be useful. I’ll pass on the suggestion, and see if we want to add it to our list of future improvements.

Would be a big improvement.
Suppose I have a bill where An had 2 Cola's and Bob just 1, then I do not want to have to split that into two lines and having to calculate how much a cola costs. Which is what I have to do now.
And indeed would also help a lot in case of couples. -

It seems intuitive and would be extremely useful if the same “split options” as is currently available for each “unitemized” bill were also offered for EACH item in an “itemized bill,” i.e. provide “split equally,” “split by exact amounts,” “split by percentages,” and “split by shares” as options for each item in an “itemized bill.” Instead, now I am only able to assign a responsibility of 0%, 50% or 100% of each such item’s cost to the people I am splitting a bill with. I hope you go all the way with this idea, as it seems that it will make Splitwise nearly PERFECT for our needs! Thanks for such a great app and site!

It also could be shares instead of percentage. For example for a bottle of wine someone drinks twice more than other so his share is 2. Someone drinks a little so his share is 0.5. Now you all shares item equally.

Encountered the same limitations when trying to split drinks - all drinks are the same but some people drink more - so an equal split would be unfair.
