Allow custom messages to be sent to group members from Splitwise Group
I would like to send a custom message to specific members of a Group directly from Splitwise. I've tried using the whiteboard function but that doesn't seem to work very well.

Are you aware of the ability to send reminders, or comment on specific expenses? You can send an email to a fellow group member by clicking on their name in the right sidebar, then clicking the “Send reminder” button. You can leave comments on specific expenses by clicking the expense, then entering a comment in the comment box – the other people involved in the bill should get an email about your comment. I hope that helps!

For instance, I have to ask my roommates everyday if they appear for dinner and I've to buy things accordingly and split the share. If there is a poll that would notify my roommates everyday at 7:00 PM with YES or NO so that whoever responds YES appear for dinner and splitwise splits the cost accordingly.

The standard balance reminder is too bland and just not how I would talk. I should be allowed to define my own template where I use something with variables like "Hi $Name, ..."

There should be facility transfer group member from Whatsapp to HIKE or form HIKE to Whatsapp.

I really have the need of sending messages to remind my friends to add some bills or to clarify something. Moreover, sending a direct message to a friend would be really handy.
Good app but I really miss this.

Members of the group better to have a feature to send a request to another member who spent money for a bill.
Ex: Person A, B went for movie and dinner. Person A paid for movie reservation and B paid for dinner reservation. Later Person A added his expense. But Person B yet to add the bill. Now I feel to have a feature to remind Person B to add a bill.

A lot of times I see a groupmate add an expense which was incurred in recent or long past which I don't exactly get. I would like to immediately ping the mate to seek clarification. Although I can do it in another chat app or we can make a rule that every expense should be clearly described, it's a convenient feature to add a small chat option.

Users should be able to add just a comment (with date) among the bills.
This will make it easier to record and keep a track of expenses that are related but have not been recorded on splitwise.In general, it will be useful feature to be able to pin a comment in between the expenses.

There should be a chat option so that one can send messages also and have a small discussion over something.

I have posted this same idea under "contact support" by mistake :P
Basically, having a group chat facility would make this a killer site/app!
