Plates should support discounts too
When we apply discount coupons, restaurants give discount on final amount. As plates doesn't support this it difficult to use plates at such time.
Temporary workaround: Generally we subtract discount amount from tip and try to use it somehow.
Plates is as simple and easy to use as it is because we’ve left out a number of less frequent use cases. If this gets a lot of votes, we’ll know its something a lot of people would use, and will think about adding it.

Plates by Splitwise is really a good app, simple to use and in design. The only one feature it lacks is discount feature.
The app has tax bill and tip feature.
The app lacks discount feature.
What if restaurant owner gave discount after our final bill? Individual will have to work out the actual amount by using discount given by owner by himself/herself. This would be time consuming.
$10 for plate. (Without discount)
$10 for plate. (With 10% discount) method used (10 x 0.10 = 9).
Customer pays $9 dollars.If the app can do this calculations by its own, just think! how much it could benefit us.
