More robust graphs/trends on mobile
The ability to see YTD spending, break down by cost type, etc. would be great. Also, perhaps a spreadsheet view of expenses.
Thanks for the suggestion! Our website currently has a few more advanced charts and graphs (totals by category, printable monthly summaries), and our iPhone app has a few basic charts as of v4.0 (group totals, export as spreadsheet). We’re hoping to bring similar features to Android soon, and to add more features as time goes on :)
Allow me to select a number of categories and a period of time. Show a graph of the expenses in each category per month/week/arbitrary time period in order so I can look at my expenses over time in different categories.
I love the ability to see graphs of spending for a given month, but I'd really like to be able to see overall for a group as well. I'm on a roadtrip and it's kind of annoying that are expenses got split into two months' graphs because we started a week before June.

Hi! I like very much your app, started to use it little while ago, compared to many of them and still I think is the strongest one, congratulations!
My feedback is about reports, or resumes, I don´t know how to call it exactly. The idea is similar of what is called "Trends" in the website interface, but i would like to have more flexibility. For example, be able to know how much a group expended on food (or any particular category) on a trip. Being also able to be defined by dates or groups, not only by moths as seen on "trends". That would be really helpful. Both ideas oriented in the main use I give the app: group trips.
Thank you very much from Spain, best regards, Borja.
If i want to see the categories of expense ( like movies, bar etc., ) in my roommate group also it would be nice showing a pie chart about the contribution from each person in the group.
Thanks for helping us.
Let people create graphs for customizable lengths of time, e.g., 3 months, 12 months, etc. and chart costs of utilities vs food, or groceries vs dining out. This would be immensely helpful for budgeting.
Hi, we've been using splitwise for a month now and do enjoy the simplicity of splitting our bills..
As an addition, it would be very nice to create individual reports according to categories and dates., e.g. how much we spent on water bills over the last 6 months, how much we spent on groceries this month compared to last month etc.
