Give notif when my friend logs into SW
Give me a push notif if my friend is looking at the SW app so I can message them about any outstanding bills I need them to add to the ledger.
0 votesWe will probably implement messaging in the future, which would solve this. Not sure whether we’ll ever give users notifs when their friends log in — seems a little invasive?

Bug Report: % split yields error when lowering expense amount
If you enter a % split, it's stored as $ values and throws an error when you subsequently reduce the total cost.
Steps to reproduce:
-add a bill of > $1
-set it to a percentage split
-confirm/accept the bill
-edit the bill and attempt to lower the price to $1
-observe that an error dialog appears complaining that the new price is less than your share of the bill0 votesWe are aware of this issue, and it is on our TODO list for the near future.

We are making big changes to our ‘reoccurring bill’ infrastructure / interface over the next year. This seems like something we could potentially include. Thanks!

Payment to PayPal Money Pool directly from Splitwise
It would be good have the option of paying directly to PayPal Money Pool from Splitwise. This way when a Money Pool is created in PayPal and an invoice in Splitwise is created to contribute towards Money Pool, users will be able to settle it through Splitwise and it will be a smooth settlement.
0 votesThanks for the suggestion! I’m not sure this is something we’re going to add but I’ll leave it open for further voting for now.

Add a feature for recording stake in shared assets
My partner and I are buying a house together and we want to keep track of how much of the house belongs to who. We will record all expenses we pay towards the house (surveying, deposit, mortgage payments, repairs etc), and that will determine what share each of us owns. When we sell the house, we will split the sale price minus expenses according to the same proportion.
As I understand it, Splitwise doesn't quite support this use case, because it mainly focuses on how much people owe each other in the moment. It would be great though if you…

Revising amount owed after an expense paid
My friends paid me for an expense via Venmo, which was eventually revised in splitwise. Will their money go back into a pool to cover other “owed expenses”?
