    GoCardless and Stripe are both excellent in terms of end-user convenience and in the overall developer experience. (Way friendlier than PayPal.)

    I mention Stripe because they recently unveiled "Stripe Connect", which is a lot like Amazon Payments (used by Kickstarter), except with a much more streamlined process for getting users signed-up and accepting payments.
