California just adopted a new law that allows accessory dwellings to be built without adding parking. This plus population growth will add huge demand for sharing cars. The housemate car sharing market is, so far as I can tell, without an ap.
In our case, we currently have four housemates sharing two cars informally...and we are facing a situation with potentially 10 bedrooms and space for three cars parked one after the other in the driveway. We are thinking that only shared cars should be allowed. You just take the one closest to the street and go. Let the ap know who is in the car or if it is a house errand and it would add that to people's tabs as appropriate...put gas in it or repair it and it would give you a credit. Happy to discuss further if interested...
