    I can see how this would be a huge help for people who have many friends with the same name who refuse to add their last name to their accounts! This isn’t on our roadmap yet, but it’s something we’ll consider in the future.

    We use splitwise amongst building tenants.

    Some tenants have emails registered and some don't
    Those who have registration show up with their name, but there is no way to assign a nickname (with their apartment number for example) - this means the tenant who manages the group has to remember who lives where.

    Can you add a nickname field for each group member? It can even be stored in browser localstorage just for that particular user
