We currently send automatic monthly reminders, but we’d love to add an option for weekly reminders at some point, as well as potentially other options.

This is a neat idea, and something I would find useful too. I’ll bring it up with my co workers at our next meeting to see if/when we can stick it on the schedule.

Splitwise should automatically send notifications to people who have not settled up. I suggest automated reminders because it take the social pressure off of people to ask for such small amounts that inevitable add up. For example, I had multiple groups where multiple people owed me $2-$5, but because they were such small amounts I felt like a jerk asking people to pay me $3, but then everyone cumulatively owe me almost $30.
