    I think this is a great idea! It’s not on the roadmap yet due to lots of other priorities voted higher, but one we’ve discussed and agreed totally makes sense. Thanks for submitting.

    I wanted to extend the idea.
    archived groups could still have a settle option, so archiving a group would only prevent editing previous expenses or adding new ones except settlements.
    I wanted to say this cause I got the impression from other comments that a group can be archived only when it's fully settled

    or maybe I'm talking about something else, we could call that locking a group?
