  2. Share Group on mobile app

    How can I share the link to join a group on Android?
    If I don't have a person's name/number saved on my android phone, I can't share the group with them to join using the link.

  3. Plates can include a way to separate diners/plates who are accidentally combined

    There is currently no way to split diners/plates if you accidentally combine them on the app. A click and hold or two-finger splitting of the plates could accomplish this.

  6. Group type options

    You should exapand your group type options to more than apartment, misc and trip. Sometimes it's for a party!

  7. Have all details viewable (comments, notes, etc.) for all transactions, including deleted ones.

    I add comments on transactions before I delete them, noting why they were deleted.

    I can see the details of deleted transactions on Splitwise Mobile App, but I cannot see them on the web app.

    Please allow us to see all details. :)

  9. Tracker-free ads

    Hello there,

    I'm a new user of Splitwise. While I don't think paying for the Pro version is worth it for me, I would like to support the service by deactivating my ad blocker. However, after doing so, I still see no ads. I quickly realized that the ads are still being blocked by both the DuckDuckGo extension and the Privacy Badger extension, which are tracker blockers.

    Just to be clear, those are not Ad blockers. They just block trackers. It just so happens that most ads track you, and therefore they get blocked. While I'm perfectly fine with adding…

  11. is it possible to integrate UPI (UNIFIED PAYMENT SYSTEM) for Indian users ??

    UPI is a payment method introduced in India to transact between users and organisation. it would simplify the transactions between users if that can be integrated to Splitwise ✌

    Thanks for suggesting UPI as a payment method. We’re looking into UPI, and would like to know your thoughts on how you’d like Splitwise to support UPI:

    - Integrate with a UPI app like BHIM or PhonePe
    - Integrate with your banking app
    - Let you send money to a virtual address, phone #, or IFSC from within Splitwise
    - Something else?

  12. My total share in WEB app

    In Android app there is a 'Group spending summary' screen where I can select 'All time' mode and see how much did the trip cost to me.
    In the WEB app this screen shows data only for one month at a time that is inconvenient if trip didn't fit in a single month. Please, add 'All time' mode to WEB app.

  13. I add 'electricity bill' as 'bijli bill', 'food bill' as 'khana bill'.Your AI wont add relevant icons for my usage. Removes the fun in usage

    Train the AI to recognize common utility bill words in French, Spanish, Hindi and other popular languages too so that the relevant icons for the bill will be added.

    So users that don't speak English will also get the full experience

  15. Allow negative adjustments in Split by Adjustment

    Allow split by adjustment to not only add but subtract amounts. For instance, removing someone from a $5 purchase of eggs on an otherwise equal grocery bill if they are vegan.

    We’d love to integrate with Siri! In the past we weren’t able to work with the integration, but we’ll look for any changes that may allow us to add this. Thanks for the suggestion!

  18. Add friends without email address or phone number

    I know that it might be a user acquisition choice, but it is very annoying to not be able to add someone with just their name (i.e. with no email address or phone, so that they don't receive an invite).
    I find that the user experience is affected a lot by this and I am switch back to another app because of this despite how good splitwise is overall.

    There are indeed several use cases where I would like to add people without contact details:
    - At a specific event, for example a party where I need to enter the…

    Thanks for the detailed feedback – it’s always useful to hear, and I’ll pass it on :)

    One small feature you may not be aware of: on our website, Splitwise does allow you to add group members without email addresses, which hopefully helps for the “large party” scenario. My apologies that the same feature isn’t available on our mobile apps!

  20. Seperate activity page for each group

    I would like to have a separate activity page for each group. I am part of four different groups. Whenever someone adds any transaction in one of the group, I can see that in my activity tab of Splitwise. It becomes really hard to understand when there are common people in between different groups. I will be happy if each group can have it's own activity page. It will make life more easier. I hope you will consider my request. Thanks in advance.

    Thanks for the suggestion! Your recent activity notifications should indicate which group the notification refers to, but I can see how things might get confusing if you have a lot of activity in multiple groups. I’ll leave this open for further voting for now.
