Link plates by splitwise to splitwise app, so that we can directly link to existing balances we have with our dining partners on splitwise

To be able to use plates to split the bill and the automatically link it to splitwise.

Plates would need the ability then to use your contacts in splitwise.

What happened to integration?
Plates doesn't allow me to persist balances over multiple meals (doesn't meet my needs)
Plates does not integrate with Splitwise (sharing does *not* work...big UI bugs there)
Splitwise can't be used for bill splitting.
Is there another application anyone knows that provides bill splitting but persists balances across multiple meals?

On group vacations I've noticed that if we going to the restoration, someone pays bill by a credit card and then we have to record this payment in splitwise.

Current (our) scenario:
1. Make photo of bill
2. Go home, run Plates, split bill and carefully transfer numbers to Splitwise

What is suggested:
1. Add bill in splitwise 100$ for dinner (plus N$ for tips)
2. Record exact amounts using functionality as in Plates but with friend names.
3. In european countries tips are not exact percentage from whole bill. It's just for example 10$. So it will be great if system will spread that tip proportionately

This will save a lot of time in the future.

tried the solution to share a link with plates an add it to splitwise by clicking it but unfortunately the bill in splitwise is then split equally so this is no help. :(

It's annoying to have to remember the splits / app switch. The process would be much more streamlined if you could create the bill / share it directly to the Splitwise app

Any update here? It could either be Plates, or a similar interface for any itemized bill.
