Thanks for the suggestion! Our website currently has a few more advanced charts and graphs (totals by category, printable monthly summaries), and our iPhone app has a few basic charts as of v4.0 (group totals, export as spreadsheet). We’re hoping to bring similar features to Android soon, and to add more features as time goes on :)

Please bring these to mobile! I use mobile splitwise 99% of the time - it's very annoying to need to log in to browser/desktop to view the monthly charts

I LOVE looking at my graphs each month and would love if they were feature more prominently on my dash. I would also love to be able to compare my spending in categories month to month...Maybe with a bar or line graph?

Yes PLEASE - specifically google assistant - would also be great to have some "get info" commands too, like "how much was the water bill last month?" or "how much do i owe Jane?" etc.

We’re working on the messaging of how our expenses (especially ones like recurring bills) work as we speak.

We definitely want to improve Plates + Splitwise integration over time! Right now, if you share a Plates bill with a friend, they can click on the link and then save their share as a Splitwise IOU. We haven’t had a chance to make updates to Plates in a while, but in the future, we hope to let you do that straight from the Plates app. Until then, apologies for the inconvenience!

We aren’t planing to add support for custom categories in the near future. We’re considering better ways to allow people to sort expenses into categories other than the ones we’ve provided. In the meantime, if there are particular important categories you feel are missing, feel free to email us with a suggestion at support@splitwise.com.

I think this is a great idea! It’s not on the roadmap yet due to lots of other priorities voted higher, but one we’ve discussed and agreed totally makes sense. Thanks for submitting.

PLEASE add this. I've been using splitwise for YEARS and need this feature. It's important to me to keep records of spending, so I don't want to delete a group, just archive it!

This is an interesting idea, and one I could see for people who want to quickly settle up and call it a day. I’ll bring it up with my co workers and see if it’s something we can fit on our schedule.

Thanks for looking into it! My roommates and I absolutely love Splitwise. Great product! It's really been helpful with dealing with household expenses and the ever accumulating IOUs
