We’re working on the messaging of how our expenses (especially ones like recurring bills) work as we speak.
This does sound like something that we need to address for sure. Thanks so much for letting us know!

Thanks for the detailed feedback – it’s always useful to hear, and I’ll pass it on :)
One small feature you may not be aware of: on our website, Splitwise does allow you to add group members without email addresses, which hopefully helps for the “large party” scenario. My apologies that the same feature isn’t available on our mobile apps!

We just added a very basic calculator function to our web app, so you can now use basic mathematical operations when entering a cost (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division). We hope to add similar features to our mobile apps at some point in the future!

Sorry for the trouble! Yep, there are a few other currencies that work this way too – I’m not sure when we’ll get around to rounding off those currencies, but we know it’s somewhere we can improve. In the meantime, apologies for the inconvenience!

Then, the one who i am overpaying 0.17 to gets 0.17 less from someone else. Some are rounded up and some are rounded down. But all numers are rounded then most you can, as we actually end up doing that in reality. Should it be directly in the app it would be awesome

Currently you choose the reocurrence period, but it should have a number of reocurrences or an end date. Eg: i want to do 12 monthly installments. Now i need to choose a monthly reocurrence and then remember to cancel at month 12, i will definitely forget.
